Birds in the garden are simply nice, no? After the feeding station for the birds, I also built a nesting box. I have to admit, the concept is rather simple. But my son, who was 3 years old at the time, had a lot of fun to build the box with me.
In 2018, I built a bicycle shed in our front yard. It should have space for 4 bicycles, a bike trailer, child seats, etc. Here you find the image documentation of the building process of the shed.
In 2017 we expected the birth of our son, Jona. So what does a DIY-er do then? Of course! I built a moon cradle. On this page, I document how I built the cradle with a picture gallery.
One day we had an unexpected visit on the terrace from a squirrel that we would soon call Fritz. When I built him a feeding station, it wasn’t long before Fritz moved into our patio!
In 2021 I built a mud kitchen for the children. Because there must be fun with water and sand in the garden, especially on warm spring and summer days!
After the squirrel in Frankfurt, there are now many birds around us. So Jona and I built a feeding station so that our flying friends can easily find food even in autumn and winter.
In 2018 we moved into our house. Jona finally had his own room. So I built this airplane shelf to furnish the children’s room. Of course, the propeller can rotate, just like the wheels of the plane!
In 2017 our son was born. In addition to the moon cradle, I also built 2 cloud shelves so that the children’s corner was totally inviting for our little man.
In 2018 we moved into our house. The bathroom was a bit clinical and sad, so a nice bamboo wall shelf should go in the corner for toiletries and a bit of decoration.
